In 1980 the now three-year old Niatross campaigned from May thru December. His rigorous schedule carried him from New Jersey to California to Canada to Florida and all points in between.
He did not disappoint the record crowds that turned out to catch a glimpse of the "Greatest Horse Our Sport Has Ever Seen" quoting Hall of Famer Stanley Dancer.
The vaunted pacer never chased records for the sake of a record but still established 10 track records on his journey across North America.
